Family Tour with Authentic Kungfu

This family tour starts in Beijing, the Capital of China. Magnificent Mutianyu Great Wall, renowned Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace are waiting for you. Besides, you’ll also see some of interesting museums in Beijing. Hutong tour in Rickshaw will bring you closer to local culture. Then we will go to Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng, which is the original place of Martial Arts. In ancient capital Xian, Terracotta Warriors and Horses will take you back to Qin Dynasty, over 2,000 years ago. Riding bikes on the City Wall to have a bird’s eye viewing of Xi’an. The highlight of the tour in Guilin will be the Li River Cruise and Rice Paddies. Cycling in the countryside and Chinese Cooking Class will be fun for both kids and parents. Then let’s go to Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai to appreciate this typical Chinese garden. Outer Bund, Shanghai Museum, Nanjing Road and Oriental Pearl Tower will make you experience Old and Modern Shanghai! The last stop of this tour will be international metropolitan—Hong Kong.

Day 1: Beijing

Our representative will meet you at airport on your arrival, and you are transferred to your hotel. In your spare time, you can explore the city yourself. In the evening, our representative will give you a pre-tour briefing. This is generally followed by a dinner at a local restaurant -- Beijing Duck is often a popular choice.

Day 2: Beijing

We visit [Temple of Heaven], the place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's blessing for the whole nation and we might fly kites there if weather permitting. Then we go to the largest city square in the world, the [Tian'anmen Square]. Right after the square, we will visit the largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years, the [Forbidden City]. Later in the evening we will have the opportunity to enjoy a Chinese martial art show named [Kungfu Legend]. Both adults and children will surely be excited by this show.

Day 3: Beijing

Today we are going to visit the [Mutianyu Great Wall] to appreciate the largely unrestored and more authentic section but fewer groups of tourists of the wall. Climbing up this astonishing man-made structure  and surveying the spectacular surrounding countryside is a valuable experience.

Day 4: Beijing

This morning let’s go and visit [Beijing Zoo] to see lovely Pandas! Your kids will love it very much! Then we head for the [China Military Museum] to know China military in more realistic way. In the afternoon, we go to the [Summer Palace] which is the biggest and most renowned imperial summer resort from the Ming and Qing Dynasty and a great paragon of China's extraordinary workmanship and architecture.

Day 5: Beijing-Zhengzhou

In the morning, we will drive to the old district of Beijing and have a short [Hutong Tour by rickshaw]. Then we drive to the airport to take a flight to Zhengzhou, the capital city of China’s central Henan Province.

Day 6: Zhengzhou-Dengfeng-Luoyang

In the morning, we will drive to Dengfeng County where the renowned [Shaolin Temple] is located. We visit the temple as well as [Pagoda Forest] and later we will have the chance to enjoy the [authentic Shaolin Kungfu show]. After a Buddhist style vegetarian lunch, we drive to Luoyang city. The rest of the day will be free on your own.

Day 7: Luoyang-Xi'an

Today we visit the heritage which is on the list of the world heritage by UNESCO: [Longmen Grotto]. After lunch, we take the express train to Xi'an (about 1 hour and 35 minutes).

Day 8: Xi'an

The renowned unearthed pottery statues can be showed in [Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum], considered as "the Eighth Wonder of the World" and one of the most important archaeological finds of the 20th Century. Today we will visit it. After coming back, the rest free time can easily be passed on wandering the downtown Xi'an.

Day 9: Xi'an

You can spend a leisurely and comfortable morning in wandering the Muslim Quarter, visiting the [Great Mosque], and then have a [noodle cooking class], we will learn how to cook the Xi’an noodles and eat them for your lunch. In the afternoon, we take a [bike tour] around the whole downtown on the top of [Xi'an City Wall].

Day 10: Xi'an-Guilin

Today we are going to visit the [Shaanxi Provincial Museum] which will vividly illustrate how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture. Following this we head for the [Big Wild Goose Pagoda]. Originally built by the eminent monk Xuanzang in 652 AD, it’s considered as one of the most important pagodas in China's Buddhism history. After that, we will take a pm flight to Guilin.

Day 11: Guilin

We take our bus to Longji (Dragon Back), a minority area with magnificent [Terraced Rice Paddy Fields]. The views of the fields are stunning from all perspectives as you walk your way towards the top of a mountain. Along the way, you will encounter some of China’s ethnic minority peoples dressed in traditional, exotic, colorful clothes, and adorned with delicate silver ornaments intertwined with their traditional long hair. We will visit their traditional [Zhuang Village] in the afternoon, leave the village and take our bus going downhill and drive to Guilin City.

Day 12: Guilin-Yangshuo

We drive to the wharf for [Li River cruise], and enjoy the Li River picturesque scenery to Yangshuo. The cruise will definitely be your highlight of visit to China. We will pass the extraordinary peaks, enjoy sprays of bamboo lining, and appreciate natives’ fishing rafts floating on the river and picturesque villages. After disembarkation, we go and check in to your hotel. We will see a [cormorant fishing] for a short night cruise.

Day 13: Yangshuo

If weather permitting, we will have our second [Bike Tour] to the countryside near Yangshuo and [fly kites] in the flat field area. In the afternoon, let's have a complete set of [cooking class] to learn how to make southern China meals.

Day 14: Yangshuo-Guilin-Hong Kong

In the morning we will have a [Traditional Chinese Painting class] and then [visit a local primary school]. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Guilin airport for your flight to Hong Kong.

Day 15: Hong Kong

Today, we are going to visit [Hong Kong Museum of History]. In these houses, all the historical changes and incidents of this Oriental Pearl city can be seen. Then we go to the [Goldfish Market] where blocks and blocks of small stores selling all kinds of pets: fish, reptiles, puppies, and kittens. In the afternoon, we will visit to the [Ocean Park] where is a place for the kids. After dinner, a night view from the top of the [Victoria Peak] will leave you an unforgettable impression of this metropolis.

Day 16: Hong Kong-Departure

You are free at leisure before being transferred to the airport for your flight home. Your tour that we served will end at the airport.
