The first day will be a tough hiking day, but the sceneries and a hot spring spa in the evening will be big rewards to your effort. You also have opportunity to get to know the exotic minority nationality’s culture in their villages and the bazaar in the town.

It takes about 2.5 hour drive from the city to Dazhai village, where we start hiking. We will walk through the village uphill on the mountainside. A zero-distance look at those wooden and tongue-and-groove structured cottages will leave you an unforgettable memory. What’s more, on the way and at the top of the mountain you will see beautiful contour-map-like terraced rice paddies. Have a rest in Xiaozhai village and we start to hike the most challenging part, going all the way uphill to the Fopingbao Peak which is the highest one in this area. The hiking paths can be more and more confusing, but our local farmer guide will be a big help.
Stay overnight in Hot Spring Hotel.
Have a lazy morning and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in the hot spring resort yourself. After lunch, drive from Hot Spring to Longsheng county town. Let’s stop and visit a local bazaar where you can see amazing local products from hand-made clothes, different type of food, handcrafts to things, such as snake wine, wasp hive, etc., which local people consider to be traditional Chinese medicine. Then, a 2-hour drive will take you back to the city of Guilin.
