Yutian Lake is located in Yutian Village, Xianghu Town, Fuliang County, Southeast of Jingdezhen. It was originally called Yuejin Reservoir. The scenic area focuses on water landscape combining tourist, sightseeing, relaxation and fishing together. It is known as pearl on the water.
Surrounded with rolling mountains, the lake covers an area of 2,700,000 square meters. The crystal-clear water is rippling along winding riverbank. The lake looks like a gourd. In the center of lake is Peach Blossom Island. There is Lion hill on the lake, which is surrounded with water by three sides and with one side connecting to the river bank. The hill is covered with lush vegetation. Thus, the hill looks like a hairy lion drinking water at the river bank. The hill is steep and craggy. There is a cave with a height of 50 meter, covering an area of 400 square meters .Entering the cave, you can have a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains around.
Lush vegetation attracts many wild birds to perch including mandarin duck, wild duck and egret etc. The major scenic spots include exciting water amusement park, magnificent cave, imposing Lion Hill, and time-honored Immortal Bridge etc.
