Day 1: Beijing

Our CET guide will meet you at airport upon your arrival, and transfer you to your hotel followed.

Stay overnight in the hotel of Beijing.

Day 2: Beijing

The first visit in Beijing is the [Temple of Heaven], where the ancient emperors prayed for the Heaven's bless for the whole nation at there. [Tian'anmen Square], the largest city square in the world. Followed that we will go to the [Forbidden City] that is the largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.

Day 3: Beijing

We will travel to [Mutianyu Great Wall] , 80 kilometers northeast of Beijing. Mutianyu Great Wall is characterized by many watchtowers on overlapping mountain ranges. The wall, built with slabs of stone, is crenellated on both sides with bricks. After a late lunch in a local restaurant, get back to the downtown.

Day 4: Beijing-Xi'an

Visit the[Summer Palace], the biggest and most renowned imperial summer resort from the Ming and Qing Dynasty. It is a great manifestation of China's extraordinary workmanship and architecture through the history. After lunch we will drive to the airport for a pm flight to Xi'an.

Day 5: Xi'an

Today a tour to the extraordinary [Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum] will present us these unearthed pottery statues, being respected as "the Eighth Wonder of the World" and known as one of the most important archaeological finds of the 20th Century. After coming back, the rest free time can be leisurely spent wandering the narrow streets among the Muslim Quarter where we can find quaint shops around and lively markets, also we will see groups of white-bearded men in skull caps sipping tea in dingy cafes.

Day 6: Xi'an

Check out after breakfast and follow the guide to a local family's home in a residential area in this city. You will meet your home stay host, check in your room in their house or apartment and have your lunch with them. Later in the afternoon, your host and guide will show you to the local market to buy stuff you need for dinner. THIS IS COMPLETELY "WHEN IN ROME, DO AS THE ROMANS DO." You will be cooking your own Chinese dinner by following your host! Enjoy your first-made Chinese dinner and have some tea and talk with them, feeling the ordinary people's life in your own experience.

Day 7: Xi'an-Guilin

After leaving the Xi'an host home in the morning, we will go to visit the [Shaanxi Provincial Museum] which will tell you about the history of Xi'an and know why Xi’an will be the cradle of Chinese culture. And then visit the [Big Wild Goose Pagoda] which was built by the eminent monk Xuanzang in 652 AD, being great important to China's Buddhism history. After those, we drive to the airport to take a pm flight to Guilin.

Day 8: Guilin-Yangshuo-Guilin

In the morning, we will drive to the wharf to start our [Li River cruise], enjoying the Li River picturesque scenery to Yangshuo. Your visit to China will be highlighted by this cruise! During the period, we will pass the extraordinary peaks, sprays of bamboo lining, natives’ fishing rafts floating on the river and picturesque villages. After disembarkation, there some free time for you to spend on the "Global Village", Yangshuo town, due to the popularity with travelers from throughout the world. And then drive back to Guilin.

Day 9: Guilin-Shanghai

We will have a wonderful visit to the [Reed Flute Cave]. They are large amounts of stalactites and stalagmites of natural beauty and with their endless variety of remarkable scenes. Then come to the symbol of Guilin city, the [Elephant Hill]. A natural hill looks like a giant elephant with its long trunk drinking water from the Li River. Later we will take a pm flight to Shanghai.

Day 10: Shanghai
Today, we are going to look around the [Yuyuan Garden], a beautiful private garden which is the most typical representative of this style of Chinese garden; next will be the [Huangpu River Cruise], from where you see the modern skylines of this China's biggest city; and then wandering along [the Bund].

Day 11: Shanghai-Departure

The time before your flight back home is free on your own. And we will transfer you to airport. Your tour we sponsored ends at the airport.
