Kunming to Luoping tour with hiking, brings you the exciting expedition in Luoping, Jiulong, Lubuge as well as Kunming.
Upon your arrival in Kunming, our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
Optional:Bamboo Monastery is Tang Dynasty (618-907 A.D.) temple known for its Arhat statues is the most famous of Kunming's temples. The present Bamboo temple was rebuilt in the Guangxu Era (1833 to 1890).
Stay overnight in Kunming.
After breakfast, drive 6 hours from Kunming to Luoping, on the way, visit the Stone Forest.
Stone Forest: The most remarkable natural phenomena. It consists of innumerable bizarre shaped ancient limestone cliffs and peaks created by wind and water erosion some 270 million years ago.
Stay overnight in 4 star hotel Zhongyuan Hotel in Luoping.
Trek 11 km to Golden Cock Hills, photographing the vast fields of cole. Keep trekking 9 km to the Nine Dragon Waterfalls.
Stay overnight in a 2 star hotel.
Drive to a small town Banqiao. Trek 25 km to the Lubuge Gorge. After lunch, take a boat cruise through the Mini Three Gorges to the Lubuge power plant.
Stay overnight in a 2 star hotel.
Take a boat to visit the village which is at the meeting spot of the three provinces- Yunnan, Guangxi, Guizhou. Keep trekking along the Duoyi River for about 17 km. Drive back to Luoping.
Stay overnight in a 3 star hotel.
Drive back to Kunming, on the way, visit the Colorful Sand Forest in Luliang.
Colorful Sand Forest: A combination of sand and stone that cumulate as prominences and mounts. The glory of reflection from the sunshine reproduces a magnificent view of its distinctive character quite like the Stone Forest, but a finer version.

The hotel is based on two persons sharing one twin or double standard room with private facilities.

6. Guiding service
Excellent tour Guiding. All normal sightseeing tours in each city with English-speaking guide and admission fees where applicable. Our guide will not fly with you from one city to another. Upon your arrival at each city, a new local guide and driver will pick you up, be with you for local tour and see you off after you finish the itinerary of each city.
