China Photography Tours

Our China Photo Tours are geared for different leveled photographers. For example, for those who’ve just started learning photography and want to capture some memory reminding pictures while visiting China, we would recommend the starter’s or standard China photo tour packages, which offer slow paced sight-seeing and cultural activities. Professional tour guides who are good at photography will be accompanying all the time. For those advanced photographers who want to come home with artistic satisfying works, we will always set up some special themes, including landscape or humanity, nature or culture, or a combination of both. We carefully choose the destinations to match the theme and the tour pace would be even slower so that the participants can have plenty of time at each site to take pictures. Professional photographer will be invited to accompany the group throughout as an instructor to provide a great amount of individual “camera time” and dedicated instruction.

Most of our China Photo Tours are all inclusive while any of the off-the-peg tours is customizable. So, bring your camera, and capture the beauty and culture of China your way.     Someone told us that if you want to know modern china, go to Beijing and Shanghai; If you want to know ancient China, then go to Xi’an. We were very lucky to take this tour and visit these three cities of China. We appreciated your service during the trip, especially the guide who gave us an excellent explains of china’s histories and developments.     We took the private Li River hiking tour from China Expedition Tours in October 2019. For us it was a very spontaneous decision. We contacted the company just 1 day before the trip but everything ended up being just perfect! They reacted quickly, everything was organized as promised incl. convenient payment method. So, in the morning our private English-speaking guide - Alex was expecting us at the lobby of our hotel. The driver was also waiting for us in the spacious and very clean car parked in front of the hotel. 
    The hiking itself was brilliant. Firstly, we visited the panoramic spots, where we really enjoyed the breathtaking views of Li River and mountains from above. Than the driver dropped us with Alex at one of the villages, where we started our journey along the river through ancient villages, local farms, wild nature and peacefulness. We went the paths you have absolutely no chance to find on your own as they were hidden in the woods and mountains. Alex was so helpful and informative! He showed us many interesting things (such as ancient paths, the cotton and mandarine fields, etc.) and explained a lot about local culture and way of life. He answered every single question we asked and was taking care of us on every stage of our journey. We made a stop for brunch and shared the food with each other on the peaceful riverbank. On late afternoon we arrived to designated place where the driver was already waiting for us to bring us back to our hotel. We asked Alex to give us advice, where to buy a tasteful tea from Guilin. He was glad to show us his favorite local tea store, where we could enjoy delicious teas and get the insights into tea culture of China. 
    Don't hesitate to book this hiking tour! it's worth every penny!! 
    We would like to thank China Expedition Tour and especially Alex from the bottom of our hearts for this unbelievable experience! We hope to be able to see him again in the future and take another tour with China Expedition Tour also in other cities of China.

    Hi Alex, The tour that you arranged for us on Oct 11, 2012 was excellent. We enjoyed it very much. Upon arrival at Guilin airport on Oct 10th, you met us and from then on our pleasures continued. Guilin is a very lovely city in my mind but we don't arrange more time there. Soon we went to Kunming and continued our tour with another exellent guide. And the last tour in Beijing, the Forbidden City was very informative. The environment in Beijing restaurants was outstanding, have never seen such beautiful restaurants, so stylishly decorated before! Hotels were very good for the most part as well as their breakfasts. China Expedition Tours was an excellent choice for us, very flexible tours (which helps when travelling with a baby), also very informative and able to answer questions very quickly.     I can't say enough good things about our experience with China Expedition tour company,From the initial selection of Guilin and Yangshuo as our destination to the service we received from arrival in Guilin to our departure, our tour organizer Channel from China Expedition tour company exceeded our already high expectations. The hotel was in an excellent location, Our guide was a wealth of information, everything from history to culture to how silk is made to where the five star hotels were so that we could use Western style toilets. China Expedition tour company treated us like VIP guests! I highly recommend them.

    we definitely have a wonderful time in China.I must compliment you on the organization of our tour both in China. Everything is arragned so perfectly.

    The guides and drivers were all polite, punctual and obliging.We enjoyed each dining experience and they are so delicious.We love Chinese food, especially Dumpling Banquet in Xi'an and Peking duck in Beijing.The hotels are comfortable and tidy.
