Chinese Kungfu, also named as Wushu or Chinese martial arts, used to be defined as the systematic fighting styles that have developed over centuries in China. Nowadays, as a unique part of Chinese culture, Kungfu is more considered as for self-defenses and body building.

    First of all a Big thankyou-your guides Rockie and Grace were superb-nothing was too much for them and they were very professional and enthusiastic making my experience in China a trip of a lifetime!

    I enjoyed trip immensely ,learnt a lot,took 1000 photos and 2 hrs of video-Am inviting whole family around for a china night to show off photos and video!

    Hi, Monica.Thank you for your note. My tour in Beijing was excellent - Allen (Lu You) was a fantastic tour guide and I have only good things to say about him. Our driver was also very good.

    In terms of improvements - I would have liked to have spent more time at the Summer Palace and in the Hutong, but we were on a tight schedule.

    I would also suggest that tourists not visit the pearl market - the atmosphere was not very pleasant. However, the tea house and silk factory that we visited were very good.

    I would recommend Allen as a tour guide to other tourists and would definitely return to the sights that I saw on this trip.

    My daughters and I went to Shanghai to attend an Expo,thus we had limited time for sightseeing. My daughters wanted to see the mountains of Huangshan (Yellow Mountains) and the ancient village of Hongcun. Our only available days were April 30 to May 2, which unfortunately is a long holiday in China thus a lot of Chinese were expected to visit these very popular tourist sites. China Expedition Tours rearranged our schedule to make sure that we will not be wasting our limited time on lining up. They also assigned to us an energetic and very knowledgeable tour guide who also spoke English very well. China Expedition Tours’ attention to details made sure that we were able to appreciate the culture and craftsmanship of the Chinese people (which dates back to centuries ago) and to enjoy the mystical Yellow Mountains.

    We just wanted to drop a note here to say what a fantastic time we had in China with China Expedition Tours! All the guides were superb. Especially Sunny in Guilin. He was an amazing guide - Knowledgeable, friendly, and a true pleasure to be in the company of. Thank you so much for the recommendation of The Aroma Tea House in downtown Guilin. It was very beautiful by the lake, we really enjoyed our stay there. Our Beijing guide spoke wonderful English, he was very kind, helpful and extremely polite, we have fond memories of him as our guide. We had so much fun on this trip.
