I can't say enough good things about our experience with China Expedition tour company,From the initial selection of Guilin and Yangshuo as our destination to the service we received from arrival in Guilin to our departure, our tour organizer Channel from China Expedition tour company exceeded our already high expectations. The hotel was in an excellent location, Our guide was a wealth of information, everything from history to culture to how silk is made to where the five star hotels were so that we could use Western style toilets. China Expedition tour company treated us like VIP guests! I highly recommend them.

Dear Sue, Sorry that I didn't reply you immediately. Below is my evaluation of the tour. We were happy with the service of the tour guide, they varied in abilities, but they all tried very hard to please us. The best guide was Summer in Xi'an. She was very professional, her English was excellent and her knowledge of Xi'an and the archaeological details were impressive. We were also impressed with the guide in Beijing for his knowledge of history. Drivers in general were well educated persons with good knowledge of traffic and safe driving. Cars were clean and showed good mechanical conditions. The hotel of the three cities were all comfortable and humanized. In Beijing, the Pecking Duck left me great impression, and the Tian'anmen Square were so crowed. Many people of China came to visit this square. Xian was a ancient capital. The noodle there are delicious, and I still miss the food there. Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden, Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Shanghai Museum were worthy of going. The traffic of Shanghai was relatively better than that of Beijing, I considered. The laat stop to Guilin was also fantastic, and we plan to visit other cities of China in the future. This time, we had a very enjoyable experience with China Expedition Tours, my husband and I would definitely use CET again for our next trip in China. Sincerely, Paul &Kerry Williams

My wife and I brought eight college students to China for two weeks in January. I was a little hesitant to use a Chinese tour company, but Alex Guan provided a better itinerary at a better price than anyone else. He also answered all email queries immediately. The tour went off without a hitch. Alex accompanied us to ensure everything went smoothly, and he had arranged excellent guides and drivers in every city (Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin, Yangshuo, Hangzhou, and Shanghai). The hotels exceeded our expectations, and the meals he had arranged were superb. On top of all that, Alex is a great guy who we all really enjoyed getting to know. I have no hesitation in whole-heartedly recommending China Expedition Tours and Alex Guan!

The quality of the trips was generally good. The best experience was hiking on the Great Wall in Beijing. All guides were professional, service oriented and well trained. All guides had a fairly good command of English, some better, some less. The normal communication went well. We were very much pleased with Alex, our guide in Shanghai, who gave us very useful and to the point information. We very much appreciated his great sense of humor. All cars were clean and the drivers were always punctual and did their best to bring us safely to the visit sites. The whole trip was extremely well organized. Dear , We happily got the flexible individual tour we wanted. The reason we paid extra money to tour as a small family was the expectation that each guide would to be able to be flexible to meet our individual needs and interests. We could not be happier with the delivery of CET and each of their city guides. They met and exceeded our standards consistently. We spent the most time with your guides. We heard of Alex through friends who had used him before. He organised an interesting two-week itinerary for us, combining traditional tourist attractions with some more individual activities. If you can, visit the Panda Breeding institute in Chengdu and the highlight of our tour was a home stay in an apartment with probably the finest rooftop views in Guilin. The three star hotels were all in perfect locations and far better facilities than we expected - apart from some of the breakfasts which can be an acquired taste. Our guides all spoke very good English and went out of their way to show us round street markets or recommend restaurants (A Sichuan Hotpot is a great experience). Using travel agents in another country can be a risk, but China Expedition Tours combined high levels of professionalism with great value for money. Many thanks to Alex and Team!
