The Forbidden City is the best preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. The splendid architecture of the Forbidden City represents the essence and culmination of traditional Chinese architectural accomplishment. The Temple of Heaven is spectacular temple that the Emperors visited during the Ming and Qing dynasties to pray for a good harvest. Because of the Temples beauty, many locals still visit and use the site to exercise. The Summer Palace is another breathtaking area that will be seen. Entering into the gates of the Summer Palace is like stepping into another world. The grandeur and beauty of the Palace is overwhelming and is sure to impress anything.
Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel by tour guide and driver at 7:30-8:00AM.The guide will call you the day before and confirm the pick-up time with you.We will visit Forbidden City (2.5 hours), best preserved imperial palace in China;then go toTemple of Heaven (1 hour),the place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.After haveing lunch (1 hour) in a local restaurant,we will drive about 40 minutes and get to Summer Palace,the biggest and most renowned imperial summer resort from the Ming and Qing Dynasty and a great example of China's extraordinary workmanship and architecture. We will spend about 1.5 hours in this beautiful garden. The tour ends when you are dropped off at your hotel before 6:00PM.
