The local guide will pick you up at your hotel at 7:30, and then drive 3.5 hours to the [Great Wall in Simatai], 130 kilometers northeast of Beijing. Simatai Great Wall is the most beautiful and less tourists section of the Great Wall in Beijing. 12 towers were built on the steep mountains with stunning scenery. After a late lunch in a local restaurant, get back to the downtown.
Pick up at your hotel at 9:00. Then drive to the city center to visit [Tian'anmen Square], the largest city square in the world and [Forbidden City]-- the largest and best-preserved royal palace in the world. After lunch, move on to the [Temple of Heaven]-the place where the Emperors prayed for peace and good harvest.
Pick up at your hotel at 9:00.Then drive to [Summer Palace] -- the best-preserved imperial garden in the world that boasts centralized architectural masterpieces as well as scenic beauties. You will have the lunch at a local's house in [old Beijing Hutong area]. After lunch, you will take a rickshaw going through the old and small alleys to visit Siheyuan, the traditional Chinese courtyard, a kindergarten (Mon. to Fri. only) and a local market to learn what the authentic life of locals in Beijing is. Tour ends after returning to your hotel.
Note: In the course of the tour, we also arrange short visits to a Chinese Silk Factory, a Pear Market and a Chinese Tea House to enjoy the classical Chinese tea ceremony.
