The quality of the trips was generally good. The best experience was hiking on the Great Wall in Beijing. All guides were professional, service oriented and well trained. All guides had a fairly good command of English, some better, some less. The normal communication went well. We were very much pleased with Alex, our guide in Shanghai, who gave us very useful and to the point information. We very much appreciated his great sense of humor. All cars were clean and the drivers were always punctual and did their best to bring us safely to the visit sites. The whole trip was extremely well organized. Our guide speak wonderful English, he's very kind, helpful and extremely polite, we have fond memories of him as our guide in Guilin. The Aroma Tea House is very beautiful by the lake,we really enjoy it.Anyway, we had so much fun on this trip!!

The trip was awesome!Every guide was an excellent ambassador for their city every place except for Guangzhou . Our guide, Louis, didn't take us to the tower there. I thought it was included with our tour...but I didn't question him. Also the hotel was not in a fun location and a bit unsettling.

So overall, we had a great time with Randy, Rock, Ruby, Tiger and Ann. While in Guilin, Tiger thought we were not having fun because of the rain; actually that made it more fun and gives us a fun story to share with friends, but I think that is why we didn't meet you.

Can you do us a favor and give Tiger this email address, we would love to thank him more!

My wife and I brought eight college students to China for two weeks in January. I was a little hesitant to use a Chinese tour company, but Alex Guan provided a better itinerary at a better price than anyone else. He also answered all email queries immediately. The tour went off without a hitch. Alex accompanied us to ensure everything went smoothly, and he had arranged excellent guides and drivers in every city (Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin, Yangshuo, Hangzhou, and Shanghai). The hotels exceeded our expectations, and the meals he had arranged were superb. On top of all that, Alex is a great guy who we all really enjoyed getting to know. I have no hesitation in whole-heartedly recommending China Expedition Tours and Alex Guan!

Hi Alex, The tour that you arranged for us on Oct 11, 2012 was excellent. We enjoyed it very much. Upon arrival at Guilin airport on Oct 10th, you met us and from then on our pleasures continued. Guilin is a very lovely city in my mind but we don't arrange more time there. Soon we went to Kunming and continued our tour with another exellent guide. And the last tour in Beijing, the Forbidden City was very informative. The environment in Beijing restaurants was outstanding, have never seen such beautiful restaurants, so stylishly decorated before! Hotels were very good for the most part as well as their breakfasts. China Expedition Tours was an excellent choice for us, very flexible tours (which helps when travelling with a baby), also very informative and able to answer questions very quickly.
