Day 1: Hong Kong

You will be picked up at your hotel in Hong Kong in the morning and firstly go to visit the [Ocean Park]. With its unique combination of fascinating marine life, the Ocean Park offers many varieties for visitors to enjoy, such as watching a delightfully entertaining show featuring dolphins and sea-lions, taking in the breathtaking scenery from spectacular thrill rides like the Dragon Roller Coaster, the Spider etc. There is also a valuable opportunity for visitors to see the Chinese giant pandas in this park.

[Hong Kong Disneyland] continues the tradition with classic Disney attractions, unique shops and restaurants, dazzling live entertainment in a delightful setting. Fantasy becomes reality in Disneyland amazing theme lands – Main Street USA, Fantasyland, Adventureland and Tomorrowland. Enjoy your time there! After the Disneyland, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

I had a fantastic experience. The chinese culture is very different.
Monica mo (from agency) provided to me a nice itinerary and also answered all e-mail queries immediately.
All guides and drives are very kindly and helpul.
I liked to much all hotel (good service, nice food, location), except hotel in Xian (cold water shower). Some hotel have wifi only at lobby.

we definitely have a wonderful time in China.I must compliment you on the organization of our tour both in China. Everything is arragned so perfectly.

The guides and drivers were all polite, punctual and obliging.We enjoyed each dining experience and they are so delicious.We love Chinese food, especially Dumpling Banquet in Xi'an and Peking duck in Beijing.The hotels are comfortable and tidy.

We just wanted to drop a note here to say what a fantastic time we had in China with China Expedition Tours! All the guides were superb. Especially Sunny in Guilin. He was an amazing guide - Knowledgeable, friendly, and a true pleasure to be in the company of. Thank you so much for the recommendation of The Aroma Tea House in downtown Guilin. It was very beautiful by the lake, we really enjoyed our stay there. Our Beijing guide spoke wonderful English, he was very kind, helpful and extremely polite, we have fond memories of him as our guide. We had so much fun on this trip. We had a really good day, and enjoyed the tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. For me, the best part of the day was actually when we took a open sided car and drove around the countryside around Yangshou. It might be worth incorporating this into the tour? My only negative feedback was the food on the boat wasn’t great, although I know that your company don’t manage the boat directly. I don’t know if there are any boats that don’t have food, as it might be worth not eating, and letting people eat in the town when they arrive?

Anyway, in general the day was great. We all really enjoyed it.

We took the private Li River hiking tour from China Expedition Tours in October 2019. For us it was a very spontaneous decision. We contacted the company just 1 day before the trip but everything ended up being just perfect! They reacted quickly, everything was organized as promised incl. convenient payment method. So, in the morning our private English-speaking guide - Alex was expecting us at the lobby of our hotel. The driver was also waiting for us in the spacious and very clean car parked in front of the hotel.

The hiking itself was brilliant. Firstly, we visited the panoramic spots, where we really enjoyed the breathtaking views of Li River and mountains from above. Than the driver dropped us with Alex at one of the villages, where we started our journey along the river through ancient villages, local farms, wild nature and peacefulness. We went the paths you have absolutely no chance to find on your own as they were hidden in the woods and mountains. Alex was so helpful and informative! He showed us many interesting things (such as ancient paths, the cotton and mandarine fields, etc.) and explained a lot about local culture and way of life. He answered every single question we asked and was taking care of us on every stage of our journey. We made a stop for brunch and shared the food with each other on the peaceful riverbank. On late afternoon we arrived to designated place where the driver was already waiting for us to bring us back to our hotel. We asked Alex to give us advice, where to buy a tasteful tea from Guilin. He was glad to show us his favorite local tea store, where we could enjoy delicious teas and get the insights into tea culture of China.

Don't hesitate to book this hiking tour! it's worth every penny!!
