My wife and I brought eight college students to China for two weeks in January. I can't say enough good things about our experience with China Expedition tour company,From the initial selection of Guilin and Yangshuo as our destination to the service we received from arrival in Guilin to our departure, our tour organizer Channel from China Expedition tour company exceeded our already high expectations. The hotel was in an excellent location, Our guide was a wealth of information, everything from history to culture to how silk is made to where the five star hotels were so that we could use Western style toilets. We booked three-day trekking on the Great Wall. It was far beyond our expectation. Hiking the Great Wall is the best option to get to know the history of the Wall and had the awesome view of it. The section we trekked are most unrecovered and remote part of the Great Wall. Our guide, Richard is very friendly and professional. We learnt a lot from him about the history of the Great Wall. And we were lucky enough to view beautiful sunrise and sunset. It is well worth the long hiking. We highly recommend the tour for anyone who want to visit the Great Wall.
