The Fuxi Mountain Scenic Area is densely covered with vegetation and rich in species. The average forest coverage rate is 82%, and in some areas, the forest coverage rate exceeds 90%. There are dozens of ancient and famous trees over a thousand years old. Among them, the ancient Kang tree, known as the “fossil of living plants”, is a unique tree species in Fuxi Mountain. From March 30th to May 31st every year, there are five major flower fields for visitors to enjoy, including ten thousand cherry blossoms, ten thousand sophora flowers, a thousand mu of rape flower fields, a hundred mu of rose fields, and a thousand mu of gosang flower fields, etc.
The Fuxi Mountain Scenic Area has a profound cultural and historical heritage and is the birthplace of Chinese civilization. The cultural progenitors, Fuxi and Nuwa, once established surnames, deduced the Eight Trigrams, arranged marriages and initiated the origin of Chinese civilization here.
